Miss deerfield fair scholarship program

September 26 - September 29, 2019

We are happy to announce our third year with a renewed Miss Deerfield Fair Scholarship and Pageant. We invite young women who are juniors or seniors in high school and who live in Deerfield or adjacent towns or are the daughters or grand-daughters of Deerfield Fair Association members to enter. The top three winners earn scholarships of $1,000 - $3,000 and there are several additional cash awards as well as $50 participation award for each entrant. This event is not affiliated with Miss NH or Miss America.

Our 2019 Miss Deerfield Fair is Hildi Ettinger of Hooksett, NH. Hildi is in her junior year pursuing independent studies. She was also the recipient of the interview and essay awards, so her total in prize money (including her $50 contestant’s award) was $3,250. Hildi played the piano for her talent presentation.


Other winners for the evening were Elizabeth Marino of Deerfield, NH, a junior at Concord High School who received the talent award for her bring the house down vocal presentation of Beautiful. She also came in third runner up receiving a total of $1,150 in prize money.

Samantha Muise of Epsom, a junior at Pembroke Academy was awarded second runner up and received a total of $2,050 in prize money.


Our remaining contestants were Elizabeth Gardener of Exeter, a senior at Exeter High School and FFA member, Margret Harrington of Epsom, a junior at Pembroke Academy, Jillian Hurley of Epsom, a junior at Pembroke Academy and Amanda Crawford of Deerfield, a senior at Jesse Remington High School. Each of these contestants received $200.
